Ordering and Delivery

Dietary Requirements

  • Special dietary requirements can be catered for. Please notify us at time of ordering.

Ordering

  • Catering orders must be placed before 2pm for the following day, otherwise a late order fee of $25 will be charged.
  • Orders under $150 will be delivered cold, with reheating notes (price based on food only)
  • Orders under $200 will be delivered cold to Upper Hutt, Porirua and Whitby, with reheating notes (price based on food only)

Delivery

  • Saturdays: food can be delivered hot up until 1pm.
  • Sundays: food will not be delivered hot, minimum order of $1000.

Cancellation

  • Cancellations less than 36 hours prior may be charged 50% of the quoted price.
  • Cancellations on the day will be charged the quoted price.

Payment

  • We have a minimum charge for cocktail food of $150.
  • There will be a $14 delivery charge for orders within the CBD. Delivery Charges beyond the CBD vary.
  • Our prices are GST exclusive.
  • Payments can be made directly into our bank account, the account number can be located on our invoices. We also accept credit card payments.

Sustainability

At Blue Carrot Catering we want our business to leave the smallest carbon footprint possible. To do this we:

  • Use biodegradable products as much as we can.
  • Recycle any plastic, glass, and paper containers that can’t be reused.
  • We separate our waste which is then managed sustainably
  • Encourage our suppliers to deliver produce in recycled cartons where it is food-safe.
  • Take time to make sure our delivery vehicles are used efficiently and to a minimum.
  • Deliver much of our food on ceramic platters. These are picked up from our clients the following day, washed and reused.
  • Use of power, water and office products efficiently. We don’t print documents unless necessary, and waste paper is shredded and recycled.
  • Love our locals! We buy local produce from local suppliers wherever possible, employ local staff and support the local economy.
