In addition to event catering, we also provide an extensive drop-off service for both corporate catering and private function catering.

Gordon & Nicole - Owners
Nicole has worked in the hospitality industry for over thirty years while Gordon comes from a sales and marketing background. Both Nicole and Gordon work in the business, overseeing the day-to-day running of the company and making sure that Blue Carrot's excellent reputation for quality food and service is maintained.
Nicole and Gordon have produced two young blue carrots, aged twelve and fifteen - their best creation yet!
Adrian - Head Chef
British-born Adrian Hornsby spent over 20 years travelling the world learning to cook a wide variety of cuisines and working with many top chefs. Adrian’s culinary adventures fuelled his love for creating great food. He has run many kitchens and collected a repertoire of great dishes and skills which he was pleased to share with the Blue Carrot team when he joined the business in 2008.
In the Blue Carrot team, Adrian found a bunch of people that are as passionate about food as he is! Today he is happy to call Blue Carrot and New Zealand home.
Blue Carrot Catering has a talented team of 20 full-time staff and many casual front of house staff. Blue Carrot’s staff are the key to our success – they are dedicated to creating delicious, quality food, and are proud of the great job they do. We work as a team to ensure that Blue Carrot Catering remains one of Wellington's top caterers.
