Blue Carrot Catering is proud to be involved in Wellington On A Plate. Held over the last two weeks of August every year in New Zealand’s capital city, Visa Wellington On a Plate is the ultimate food festival with culinary events, set menus, burgers and cocktails providing a feast for the masses.
Make A Wish Foundation
We help grant wishes for children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich them with hope and strength in partnership with the Make A Wish Foundation.
Local schooling community
We work with many local schools, where our staff go to the school and run workshops with the children. We have worked with Konini School, Muritai School, Rata Street School, Avalon Primary and Our Lady of the Rosary.
Petone foreshore defibrillator
We recently sponsored the installation of a community defibrillator on the Petone shore front. The Defibrillator can be used by the public 24 hours a day. We would like to thank businesses in Sydney Street, Petone who also helped support our initiative.

Local Wild Food Challenge
A Local Wild Food Community. For the people, by the people. Founded in 2008 The Local Wild Food Challenge is A Culinary Adventure Competition. Local Wild Food Challenges are designed to showcase the resourcefulness of local people living in communities where wild food is available. Blue Carrot has been one of the main sponsors, and have provided food demonstrations since the competition’s conception.
